Mailing packages to NZ?
Question, I'm sending a package to a friend. I'd love to throw a bottle of cherry coke in it (long story). Is that legal?

Ive sent loads of packages back to New Zealand from Australia, and have had lots sent to me. A fruit cake. Chocolate. Maggi soup mix (also a long story), biscuits. I have never sent coke, but it is not illegal to send it. As long as it is sealed. You cant send nuts, plant matter or flammable stuff (although I have managed to get Perfume sent to NZ which you are not supposed to send in the post) I guess you do have to be prepared to have customs open the parcel - but it should get through ok.

Airmail 4-10 days but if it went serface it can take up to 3 months! Mail is about 4-8 days.
