how does it usually takes to get the results of a blood test.?

I Took a blood test to see if am pregnant they told me to call on Wednesday, does it usually take that long?

    You must live in a big city. I live in a rural area and the lab gave me the results within 30 minutes of the blood draw. When did you have the test done?

    Depends on how busy the clinic is... The lab where I work we can get the results within an hour but depending on the work load we aim to get them out between 2-4 hours...

    no i got mine back in a matter of minutes. Within an hour i got my results. I waited at the emergency room in the room while they did mine.
