Why is the word for a female dog illegal?

As far as I know a "B*tch" is a female dog.

Check the dictionary for Pete's sake!

I know my English better than anyone I'm American.

So why is it that they censor it on here?

I can't ask a question about my female dog or answer one without using the correct term!

This is all those damn communists and terrorist doing.

Is there a new terrorist "politically correct" word for female dog other than B*tch that I'm not aware of??

It's because it's also a term used to degrade women. It's stupid if you ask me, plenty of words have double meanings.

Unfortunately it has to do with the general context in which the word is used. While it is the correct term for a female dog, it is generally used as a derogatory term... That is why it is censored... I don't know why you should feel so angry about it... there are much worse things to worry about... if you want to use a descriptive word for a female dog, why not just use female, or dam... depending on what you are trying to describe...

on a side note, I don't think that being American actually makes you an expert on the english language... We speak it, it doesn't mean we use it correctly... If you feel that you've learned all you can about it, keep this little saying in mind... " When you're ripe you rot, when you're green you grow!!" Don't forget there is always room to learn more!

The word is perfectly acceptable in dog breeding a showing circles. If you are using the word to describe a canine then there is no repercussions but because avenues like yahoo and others do not have the time or man power to censure each and every comment made using this word and others (donkey) to make sure they are being used in a scientific manor it is policy to treat all occasions as violators of policy.

You can use the phrase Dame for female, still use Stud and Male for male gendered dog.

If your ***** has been bred then she is a dam, or maybe a gyp. But it's because it used in negative terms that the word ***** is not used in polite company. I see nothing wrong with using ***** in the reference to female dogs any more then using stud or dog to refer to a male.

But little kids get on here and their parents don't want then to learn such naughty words nor have to explain what such a word means. Remember ignorance is bliss! Hence the reason so many people are happy!

just one of the rules of YA. Get used to it, doesn't look like they will change it. People have tried but nothing is ever done. I think it could be changed to where it would be allowed in the dog category because usually it is used here in the proper context. I just don't see it happening, I just say my female, my mama dog, etc. or just go ahead and put in the asterisks myself. You can also use b*tch, *****, or separate the letters somehow like B itch. People have done these things a lot.

  • because people use it as a derogatory word on here, that's why,

I use loopholes, because bìtch is the correct term for a female intact dog, so Ill continue to use it.

No, there is no other name. You can try "intact female",or you can beat the system like i do :D

    Although I'll point out this:

    I cannot say:

My Australian Shepherd ***** is 2 years old

    but I CAN say:

I have two Australian Shepherd bitches, ages 2 and 4 months.

    ABITCH IS

    –***** (bÄch)

    1. A female canine animal, especially a dog.

    2. Offensive

A woman considered to be spiteful or overbearing.

    A lewd woman.

A man considered to be weak or contemptible.

because the term is also used as a derogitory word towards women. Its cencored because its also a bad word when used in inappropriate context.

  • 1 decade ago

    You can still say it...

    For example, B I T C H

You have to be smarter than what you are working with.

i think it is because it so happens it is used in witchcraft (black magic) making it a "curse word" ...and the way it is used to, is offensive (thank the rappers!) but i am pretty sure curse words are just that! like F*ck..but sex....it is the difference!
