What can I do to stay motivated to exercise and diet daily?

Try the SMART approach:
SPECIFIC - set yourself very specific goals, for example, exercise for 10 minutes every day.
MEASURABLE - you can keep a record of how many times per week you exercised and for how long.
ACHIEVABLE - to start with, set yourself smaller goals, if you haven't exercised for a while then 1 hour of cardio every day is unachievable (you will be extremely tired, feel unwell and may even compromise your immune system). Start with 10 minutes the first week and move it from there.
REALISTIC - it is all well to aim to exercise every day but make some allowances for a rest day or a lazy day. Then you won't feel bad if this happens.
TIME-BASED - make sure you set the time to evaluate your achievements and set new goals.
The same applies to eating. If you aim to eat 2 pieces of fruit and 5 servings of vegetables per day this is something that you can measure.
Enlisting someone (a friend or family member) to help you by discussing your efforts can be really beneficial as you are accountable to someone else at least to start with. There are professional services who can do this for you (e.g. a personal trainer or a food program like Jenny Craig) but they tend to be quite expensive and what you should be aiming for is to create a habit.
Good luck

To stay motivated all you have to do is think about some hot girl. Thinking about a hot girl always makes me motivated to work out and eat good. Because when it comes down to it that hot girl isn't going to want some chub rubbing on her...

It's all about intrinsic motivation. It must be something you really want and are willing to sacrifice for. My motivation came from seeing the results week to week and then challenging myself to more. It is a total mind set and a lifestyle.
Good luck!

who doesn't want to be fit and healthy?
i know a lot of people who had undergone "unfitting" and it resulted badly, think of it like this, every hour you do not exercise you just basically ate a pound of unhealthy food.
i know tony the tiger doesn't motivate much people but he's right, eat right and stay healthy

Well... to get me motivated I imagine what I'm aiming for... I use someone real.. like Marisa Miller... haha. So just think of the person with the best body in your opinion and keep their image in your mind. Or I get mad at myself cause Im lazy.. .and the anger pushes me. hahaha

looking at the scale would be enough motivation for me. make a goal of what you want to accomplish, and if you're trying to lose weight too, find a body figure you like and work towards that goal

Well, heres some motivation for you: If you get fat (assuming you're not already) you will be a disgusting loser. And if you can't jog a mile without stopping, regardless of the time, you're fat. It doesn't matter if you're "physically" skinny. You're still fat. So get on it, mang!
