you can soothe your eyes with refresh drops which are saline. any products that 'get the red out' are not what u need. cool washcloth to each eye helps. if u know a dr. u can have polytrim called in...speeds up healing. its about 7$. don't wipe from one eye to the other and wash your hand every time you touch your eyes to prevent spreading it or prolonging symptoms. google "conjunctivitis" for more info...i know it itches ugh sorry! hope it gets better soon :)

yeah pink eye definitely is nothing serious. i had it once and the doctor gave me anti-histamines (over the counter) and that worked. it was actually medicine for hay fever. also, pressing a warm face cloth to your eye will help.

but fyi, there are two types of pink eye - viral and bacterial. if you have gross yellowish pussy stuff coming out off your eye (not just crust in the morning) that's the bacterial kind and you should see a doctor for that.

Soak a wash cloth in warm to hot water and wring it out so it's not drippy then put it on your eye.

Do this as much as needed.

Pink eye isn't major! You just need eye drops! You do not need insurance at all.

  • This sounds nasty but this is a true home remedy

i did it wen i had pink eye like 3 years ago

    1) Urinate on a washcloth

    2) Wring the washcloth a bit

    3) Open your eye

    4) quirt some on the infected eye

look in the phone book or google free clinics in your area. also call some clinics and ask how much it would be to get looked at/how much drops would be.
