Targus 90W AC POWER ADAPTER?

I have a Toshiba laptop that's completely dead. I plugged that adapter into the wall & it seems to be fine. But when I plug it into the laptop, the light on the adapter goes out & it starts doing a strange quiet beeping noise. Any help?

    When you attempt to run the laptop off the adapter, is the battery in or out?

    Try the opposite, and tell us what the result is.

    your notebook power board has a problem like a short circit. b'cos of that your power adaptor getting cut off. take to a toshiba service center.

    Always use the original power adaptor if you you use incompatible specification OEM / House power adaptors your system will get damdged.
