if you are getting them pulled, it must be because its the best course of action for you & your health. also because you must have been through a lot of pain from the offending teeth! this procedure will give you much relief from pain. you will have noo problem at all except sometimes its hard to hold your mouth open a long time. alot of dentists use something to help in that area while performing the extractions. it will feel so much better when you walk out of the dentists' office than when you went in! you should certainly consider what to do about the remaining teeth to keep them healthy after this because the conditions in your mouth will be different. teeth could start leaning into the spaces, etc. but, for now...just be glad you are able to get them pulled.

I had 6 teeth removed and they put me to sleep about 10 yrs ago. I was nervous about the entire thing. However all they do is get you connected to a few monitors to monitor your vitals, start an IV and then administer the drugs to put you to sleep. The next thing that I remember is waking up and it was over with. I was very groggy for a while afterwards and numb from the novacane they gave for the removal of the teeth. It wasn't bad at all.

I got 4 baby teeth pulled and 2 adult teeth pulled before I got my braces in October. Don't worry don't be scared they are just gonna numb you up. Once it's out you won't feel a thing.

doesn't hurt at all. i got like 4 and a half taken out. the only thing that kinda hurts is when they r giving u the shot of local anesthesia...it just hurts for a second but it numbs the area so quickly that you only feel the shot for like 5 seconds.
