which exhaust should i get for my 06 gt that will make it sound the best and that will give the most performance

You best choice for all out sound AND performance is going to be a straight through glass-pack style muffler. I recommend the following manufacturers for your model vehicle:

Performance wise, a cut out.  Best sound? I personally vote for flowmaster 40 series, but go to a car show you're bound to see at least a few different 4.6's.  Listen and see what you like the most.

Borla, makes good systems for Mustangs.
It depends on how much  money you want to spend,
