Symphytum officinale belongs to family Boraginaceae, ( no order ), sub-class Asteridae

Adhatoda vasica belongs to family Acanthaceae, order Laminales, sub class Asteridae

They are not closely related, you could say, they have just about the same grandma.
Both are used as green manure: Adulsa leaves ( see link above ) and Symphytum as green manure valued for cultivating potatoes and tomatoes in gardens.
