simply look for steps to remove webroot program completely......
>>Right-click the "Spysweeper" icon in the bottom right of the screen. Select "Exit" and the program will close down.
>>Press "Ctrl", "Alt", and "Delete" all at once. Click "Start Task Manager," which will pull up the Windows Task Manager. Click the "Processes" tab.
>>Select "spysweeper.exe," click "End Process" and then click the "Exit" button for Windows Task Manager. This will close down Spysweeper. If you do not see this file, it means the program has already been closed down.
>>Click "Start > Settings > Control Panel." In Vista, you'll next double-click on "Programs and Features"; in XP, you'll next double click on "Add/Remove Programs."
>>Scroll through the list of programs currently installed on your computer, and find and select "Webroot Spysweeper." Then click "Uninstall."
>>Click "Next" when prompted to by the Windows Uninstall Program. Spysweeper will now be uninstalled, and this process may take a few minutes to complete. Once it finishes, click "Finish."
>>Go to "My Computer," and then navigate to "C:\Program Files." Locate the "Webroot Spysweeper" folder and select it. Then press the "Delete" key to get rid of all files associated with Spysweeper.
>>Right-click the "Recycle Bin" icon on your Desktop, and select "Empty Recycle Bin" to permanently delete the files you deleted above…
>>Reboot your computer by going to "Start > Shutdown > Reboot." Spysweeper has now been removed from your computer.

Go to CNET at http://www.download.com/ and get A-Squared HiJack free. After this program is installed, open it and go to Processes.Find each of these programs.Click on each (one at a time) and click Kill. After you have done this, run a search for these and delete them manually.
The reason this occurred is because these programs were not disabled before uninstalling. To disable these you should have right clicked on the tray icon and chose end program, exit,or what ever it says.
Now,because this wasn't done, there are live and active files/folders left behind that are giving you issues and each need to be killed/have it running process stopped.
