Will President Bush ever issue a public apology for creating Hurricane Katrina and the Indian Ocean tsunamis?

I'm so tired of every liberal i talk to trying to base their argument on the fact he won't apologize for the loss of life they claim he cause, how much longer until he issues a public apology so all the liberal demoncons will shutup?

Liberals like to believe in Darwinism.

Katrina was a perfect example of Darwinism.

Bush warned the people 72, 48 and 24 hours out that a hurricane was coming and to evacuate the area.

If your not smart enough to leave a city that has flooded 8 times in the last 100 years, then your not smart enough to survive.

What? Bush did not cause Katrina or any Tsunami. He may think he is God but he is not. Those natural disasters are simply acts of nature and not the work of a person. Sure, the policies toward pollution have been known to have some affect but I don't believe these two events can be blamed on Bush or anyone else. Now, reaction to the disasters, that's another thing. The reaction to Katrina, in particular, by this Administration was terrible. The Tsunami was not in the US and we were under no obligation to help. In due course, however the US has sent more aid to help in the Tsunami than any other country. Our reaction time in offering help could have been faster in both disasters.

If Bush has to take the blame for creating hurricanes and tsunamis, he should get the credit for creating the planet in the first place and all life on it.

I still haven't figured out why Ray Nagin never got any blame for the catastrophic failure to prepare, other than he is black and nobody in the "mainstream" liberal media dares to criticize anyone who is black, out of fear of being labeled racist I guess. The city of New Orleans itself had plenty of resources to do something to get people moved, but all week I just saw Nagin on tv telling people to leave town. He gave his one piece of advice and then washed his hands of it. Keep blaming Bush for your own incompetence. What about Governor Blanco? She called out the National Guard with the sole purpose of stopping looters. Who cares? The city was turned into Atlantis and she's worried about thugs robbing Wal-Mart. At least she got voted out. Nagin is still the mayor!

I'm a liberal and I think those people could of left before the flood hit in New Orleans, but at the same time the number one concern of Americans for the 6 years leading up to that was national security, and if that had been a terrorist attack instead of a collapsed levy would Bush of been able to do any better. I think after all the money he spent and we still didn't have any kind of plan intact is a crime, and those people that died sitting on their roofs waiting for help were killed by Bush's incompetence and he should issue an apology

Well the tsunamis were not our problem and I've never heard that argument. Obviously he didn't cause katrina whoever told you that is kind of silly, but you have to admit that it was not handled well at all.

  • When will Clinton apologize for murdering Vince Foster? FACT.

Silly, he didn't create the hurricane. He just failed to prepare for it, and screwed up on the rescue. An apology now would be meaningless.

You're tired on liberal arguments, but you STILL got them wrong

Liberals dont blame Bush for Katrina, they blame him for promising help and NOT DELIVERING
