How long will a TomTom XL last without power?

Yeah, so I had it connected to my laptop last night while it downloaded some new software. Disconntected and stuck it in my car this morning, drove to work, and then realized that I hadn't plugged it in the power the cigarette lighter. How long will it last, approximately? Thanks.

    Three hours or so. I usually only plug mine in when it's about to run out of battery life!
