Great computer. It will run every game maxxed. WoW is ant for this computer. Even Crysis. This can max out any game you want.

But seems as a serious wastage of money. Just my opinion.

    Why not changing to these:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

Performs similar to Core i7 920. Beats it in gaming performance.

    Check for yourself: http://www.trustedreviews.com/cpu-memory/review/20...

    Motherboard:

    MSi 790X-G45 2-Way Crossfire(x16/x16) Socket AM3

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

    or

    GIGABYTE GA-790FXTA-UD5 3-way Crossfire(x16/x16/x8) Socket AM3

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

    Graphics Card:

    ATi 5770 SAPPHIRE 100283-2L Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

First of all you get DirectX 11 which is not there in NVIDIA. Performance difference is 2-5 FPS, and in some games 5770 gives much 10-15 FPS more than GTX 260.

With this much change, you are not only saving a huge amount of money. But also you are making your machine future proof. Every purchase has to be done seeing its future worth, how long it will serve, upgradability options, etc..

With this change you get a DirectX 11 card. DirectX 11 is being adopted very quickly in games. DirectX 11 looks very beautiful and realistic than DirectX 10 and 9. DiRT 2 is a DX11 game and gives more performance and visual quality in DirectX 11 mode than DirectX 10.

Again the motherboard you are getting, is a AM3 socket motherboard. So future AMD processors are all going to be AM3 socket ones. Next year AMD is going to launch six core processors which will work on your motherboard. Intel is also bringing out Core i9 which has six cores, but the socket wont be LGA 1366. It will be different, so if you think of upgrading in the future, you have to throw your motherboard in dustbin or sell it for second hand. Therefore you are killing your own upgrading options.

So its best to be future proof, to meet the requirements of the future.

enable me be the 1st to invite you this. Why do no longer you build around the middle i5 2500K somewhat of the i5 750? that is in basic terms $25 greater although that's plenty speedier than the 750. The center i5 2500 is an identical value because of the fact the 760. With those new chips, you could in basic terms overclock the "ok" sequence. The p67 motherboards are an identical value because of the fact the P55. different than that outburst, each little thing else tows the line and is effective.

I would dump the motherboard from EVGA they have problems ; go with the MSI X58 Mid tower or P55 microATX mobo or Gigabyte. You can buy this complete for $1,000 from Cyberpower.com
