Where do you download videos for an MP4 player safely?

I have a Sylvania MP4 player and was wondering how to download videos safely without harming my computer or mp4 player. I'm especially intrested in Samurai x, and Naruto.

What I do is use http://www.youtube.com/ and download videos from there using http://www.zamzar.com/ there's no harming your computer or music player.
