Have Answer Nazi's taken over your question, selected the worst possible answer as BEST?

No that is what happens when someone asks a question and does not choose a best answer so it goes to voting and you take what you get right or wrong. When you don't choose an answer when your question has been posted 4 days and you ignore the email sent from yahoo saying you should then you are to blame. In the future choose a best answer when you ask a question.

YOU are supposed to pick the best answer. YOU should expect the only people who can be bothered to vote for a best answer are the answerers themselves, and people voting for points (in which case they will 99% of the time vote for the answer randomly displayed at the top of the list).

Answer Nazis have not taken over. YOUR apathy has failed the community.

It is other users on this site that choose the best answer when it has gone to the vote, another good reason why everyone who submits a question should choose their own best answer. I do a lot of voting and a lot of answers such as 'idk' or 'google it' or 'who cares' are chosen as the best answer, (I assume by some user that has a multiple account) when the No Best Answer button should have been chosen.

I'm pretty sure you get points for choosing a best answer too.

That's what happens when you don't pick a BA yourself.

It isn't Yahoo who decides which answer gets the BA but your fellow users who vote.
