I can't sleep at night and I also have trouble staying asleep?

For the past week or so I can't sleep. I have tried sleeping pills all kinds and I have even tried taking more than is recommended. I don't have any health insurance so going to a DR is out of the question. Also when I do fall asleep it's not long or very good.

I'm not stressed out and I don't drink much coffee or caffeine I even tried sleepy time tea. No luck

Any advice or tips I would prefer a natural cure or ways to help me sleep. I'm a 22 year old female thanks.

Maybe you're not doing much activity in the day to make you tired at night. I had that problem i get up at 6:00 every morning and go non-stop all day. I sleep good now. :)

You could try Melatonin, it is a natural chemical found in the brain that causes sleep.

Amitriptyline will put anyone to sleep, it is a very strong hypnotic, so start at 25mg at night, you can buy it on the internet if you don't want to see a doctor. It is much cheaper to buy 50mg pills and cut them in half.
