If a batsman is run out on a maiden over does it count as a wicket maiden?

    if its referring to the team then yes its a wicket maiden but if its referring to the bowler then no cause the run out wont count as a wicket for the bowler

    No. It would, no doub counted as a maiden over.

    Bu, since the bowler is not credited with the wicket, it would not be shown as Wicket Maiden in his analysis chart.

    No. it is not a wicket maiden but it is a maiden over. Bowler does not get any credit for any run out

    Technically there is no such thing as a wicket maiden, its just a term that commentators use, its not recorded anywhere in the match stats

    38.5. Bowler does not get credit

    The bowler does not get credit for the wicket

    A maiden over is for bowlers when no runs or sundries are scored.
