Explain Vikings late season performance?

Please no stupid answers...searious ? By serious fan:

why is it when were close to playoffs ( or in, for that matter); we start to play worse than in pre-season). For the last 3, including tonight, it looks as though we've given up. They reseble a 12 yr old pop Warner team fatigued in the 3rd quarter.

We have no fire or esteem even comn out the locker room. Are they aware what's on the line.

Someone please help me understand.... Thx

The Cardinals showed everyone how to beat the Vikings. The Panthers and every other team in the league saw that. The Cards and Panthers both shutdown AP and forced Favre to beat them. He couldn't do it either time. And now the Bears are doing it.

The issue between Favre and Childress was an unnecessary distraction. And from what I've read some of the Vikings players tried to seal the rift between them. Childress was willing, but Favre was not.

Favre is a prima donna. And I'm not kidding.

Source(s): Look here's a good article to read. http://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/article_external/Bre... Look! The fact is that Favre is overrated. With the exception of most passing attempts in a single season, all of his records are due to longevity. Yeah he won a Super Bowl, but that was a long time ago. And it was a team effort. Before Favre bought into his own hype and forgot that he's just another member of a team. And it has nothing to do with his arm getting tired. That's ridiculous.

that's glaring the Vikings weren't waiting for final night's sport, the actuality they did not get blown out became a plus. in reality they had of challenge to win the sport with 5 minutes left. do not worry on the topic of the Vikings, they are going to be in basic terms effective after the bye, and that they nevertheless will possibly be 2-a million. First sport after the bye is the Jet's, and that's once you will see the arranged Vikings team play. next sport is Miami on the Dome, Vikes - 24 Phins - thirteen. then the lions, Vikings - 29 - 17, then a bye, then the Jets after the bye, Vikings 24 - Jets - 20, and now they'll start up too roll, and end the season with 11-12 wins. that would desire to be solid adequate to the two win the branch, or a wild card. This season they gained't be stopped tell they win all of it.

    Two answers:

    1:Childress

    2:Favre

The Vikings looked so good too. Just look at last season for the Jets. But of course Favre blamed it on his shoulder. Maybe this year he will blame it on his Wranglers.

that's just Favre. that's what he did with the jets remember. started 8-3. ended 9-7. fatigue probably. his arm gets tired nearing the end of the season. besides favre, the players are relaxed too much because of their awesome season. just hope they don't get knocked out first round in play-offs.

Farve did the same exact thing with the Jets last season. Hopefully the Vikings stumble into the playoffs, then turn it back up in the playoffs, ala the Cardinals last season.

It's definitely Brett Farve's fault. Everyone knows he can't play in December. It's cold and his record is about .39
