Why are my feet always cold when not on a heater? Is there a scientific reason?

My feet are always cold! Even if everything around me is super hot or i'm wearing socks they are always cold. The only time they get warm is if they are on a heater or I am wearing my ugg boots. Is there some sort of scientific reason for this.

Certainly check out the medical aspects, especially a thyroid deficiency or a circulatory problem. Make sure you get plenty of exercise, especially leg exercise from walking, running, bicycling etc. You'll likely find that makes a big difference. And when you feel your feet getting cold, that's probably a reminder that you've neglected exercise. Our bodies were designed to be used. They deteriorate in various ways when we don't keep using them.

Our extensions, both hands and feet, are the farthest points on our body that our heart is pumping blood to. The feet are the absolutely most distant points. Quite simply, by the time blood reaches your feet, it just isn't quite as warm as it was when it was originally pumped from your heart. It's basically poor circulation that you can't do anything about, because that's your body, and that's how your DNA built it, for better or worse.

The best idea is to wear some simple socks, or anything else that will keep you warm and insulated. Read the link below, it's a whole bunch of people discussing the same issue, and how they deal with it.

But good luck with that, I hope that you find some warm feet soon.
