Do you go on the freeway for the driver's license test in California?

Update:

I've never heard of people going on the freeway during the test, but I was looking at the DMV website and it said that you may go on the freeway during the test.

In 99.999% of the time the driving test will take you around surface streets in the area of the DMV office you go to. The test rarely involves more that 20 minutes of actual driving.

If you will be taking a driving test make certain that the car you use complies with ALL the requirements listed on Pages 10 & 11 of the Driver Handbook. While you are taking the test DON'T be nervous. The examiner is not going to ask you to do anything illegal, or try to trick you. They are simply there to determine if you can safely operate the car, and follow the rules of the road.

    No.

It's generally a short trip around town. you'll stick to the area of the testing facility.

They want to test basic skills like pulling away from a curb into traffic, left and right turns, stopping at stop signs before the line, obeying traffic signals, things like that.

They don't have the time for a long trip on the freeway stuck in traffic.

They also don't want to lose a tester in a high speed accident.

I never got above 35mph when I took my test.

You shiould take a motorbike protection path to the right thank you to experience, many times a a million weekend type and using set. They prepare you on their motorcycles. Then purchase a a solid used motorcycle, there's a super variety of them dont purchase a smash, dents and dings are ok.

99.5% of the time it is around the area. However they can ask you to drive on the freeway. But no worries at least you know everyone is going the same direction.
