I have been asking Jesus to beem me up for years, why hasn't He done it yet?

I am a Christian, I am at this moment in no sin and have repented for all past sin. I am a minister, praise dancer, singer, substance abuse counselor, friend, good listener and love all people, but not all their deeds.

I have some promises waiting on me from Jesus. He said, "I have to wait on my husband to come." I anticipate all the joy of what will take place in my future. What do you think Jesus is going to do with me while I wait? OH! I am in love with Jesus and He is the number one thing in my life. So, if you believe in Jesus, what do you think will take place in my future?

I need encouraging feedback only please.

I accepted Jesus 25 years ago and He is the bomb. I think Jesus uses me as His light when necessary. I love Him with all my heart, mind and soul. What do you think will happen if I continue on with this stage of my life?

Update:

I am now 51 years old.

Update 2:

I am now 51 years old.

Update 3:

Praise the name of Jesus

3 Things Sis; Gods timing, Faith, and persevere. Maybe God is working on the heart of your husband because He doesn't want you to be affected by his current state. Maybe it's not you waiting a long time but instead it's God taking the necessary time to prepare your mans heart for Holy Matrimony. God Bless and keep waiting, it's what we Christians do.

Q-1. "I have been asking Jesus to beem me up for years, why hasn't He done it yet?"

A-1. Well, Jesus isn't a Genie. Though, many of us pray for a rapture, it may not happen in our lifetime. Also, the bible says, His ways are Higher then our ways & His thoughts are higher then our thoughts. If you are a born-again christian you will know that trusting Him to take care of what you need (not what you want) is part of what being a christian is. It's to have faith that He knows what He's doing - despite the visual & physical circumstances.

The Bible says to constantly "Examine Youself" daily. Though you believe you were saved 25 years ago.. it doesn't hurt to do what it says.. so we don't make a wrong turn.. if you know what I mean.

"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.

Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed

    you are disqualified."

    (2 Corinthians 13:5)

"Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name,

cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I

will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

    (Matthew 7:21-22)

Q-2. "what do you think will take place in my future?"

A-2. I can't help ya there. That... only God knows. God is the one you should be

asking this to. Us human-beings are so simple-minded compared to His Sovereinty

    & Wisdom.

"Delight yourself also in the LORD,

And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

    (Psalm 37:4)

    Blessings! : )

You probably have much more good to do here in this life. It would be selfish to want to go and leave so many helpless people behind. All disciples of Christ are called to serve, to the end of our days, to our last breath. We all must pass through death eventually, but do not be too hasty to reach a mortal end. We have such a small time to do so much good in this crucial part of our existence. Don't seek to cut it short.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."

One thing that I would like to point out.

You said in your question that you have no sin at this momemt. Did you know that 1 John 1:8

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

you better take Justme's advice. Examine yourself

Jesus is lie. Look at the bible closely and you'll see many lies there are like how god loves you and everybody, yet he wants to punish people in hell for eternity.

i think its funny how not only you are getting negative feedback from non believers which that's normal, your own kind is giving you backlash...'.if you were a real christian'...

You will live a boring unfulfilled life ,,,Full of self doubt and low self worth ,,,you will never experience all the joys life has to offer ,,,,and experience what the Gods and Goddess has intended us to experience

IF you have been a "christian" as long as you say you have, you wouldn't be asking this kind of question.
