Why hasn't Obama done more to support Iran's version of Tea Partiers?

They're demonstrating and dying for freedom against an unpopular government... why is Obama dithering again and giving only lip service weeks into the killings? JFK said the US would go anywhere and do anything to support freedom around the world. Has the Democrat Party lost it's way ?

Obama is not supportive of Tea Parties... If he were ... he'd take the ones here... more seriously.

As it is... he calls them "TEA-BAGGERS" (rather than PATRIOTS) and tells them to "sit down and shut up".

Funny - a Gay Rights Parade - has a bunch of people demonstrating - regarding a cause which THEY find important... and Obama and LIBS call it - A noble cause.

It was a LANDMARK speech when Obama gave that speech in support of the protests yesterday, I never thought he would go that far. Hopefully, he will put some weight behind those words. I suspect those people in Iran don't want their government engaging in nuclear war, especially when it boasts they don't care if 2/3 or more of the country gets destroyed as a result.

We already are in debt up to our necks due to Afghanistan and Iraq, and there are other countries in the world with armies, not jumping openly into another war is the only sensible thing to do.

The Iranian government has had problems before, their people have shown themselves able to revolt all on their own.

How would the right wing extremists like it if Iran sent a delegation to help them during their protest?

It is unclear what you expect should be done. The JFK reference does little to bolster your idea that nothing is being done. Even Kennedy did not oppose sitting governments.
