Peace Keeping for sure, to stamp our any armed conflicts that might crop up.
Member states would keep many of their own laws, etc., like the individual states in USA.

As with all power structures, the powerful will work hard to keep themselves powerful.
The US lesson should be to ensure that the Future World Government has a very small and limited scope.
- Standardize World Trade and laws between nations
- Recommend military action against dissident nations (I'd never trust them with their own military)
- Implement minimum human rights for international travelers (right to a public trial by jury)
- Restrict FWG from any meddling within national borders
- No educational role
- Restrict FWG from unequal rules between nations (no rewards or punishments to specific nations)

The end of the world- as the bible states when we have a world gov.
The bible says we will have a leader who promises peace but will be the opposite and will be like a WW111 the end of life on earth. Ahamadinajad thinks he was chosen to start that war, and his 12th prophet will come when he causes the river to be blood red

Re-distribution of wealth - population control (including forced abortions, neglect of the weak and elderly, etc.) It might sound good on paper, but in order to achieve a world government, all dissenters must be eliminated - genocide.

Redistribution of the wealth.
Everyone who works a full day gets a livable income and health insurance.
How can you argue with that?
Oh yeah, greed.
