Atheists -- I have a serious question?
Have you ever met a clumsy kitteh? Because Teh Baby Misty Kitteh (Yeah I know, I know, my daughter named her) is not even worthy of being called "Kitteh". She knocks things down, breaks dishes, knocks paintings off the wall, falls off of ledges, half the time she doesn't even land on her feet! My husband thinks we should shun her for being the world's clumsiest cat!
What would you do to help a clumsy kitteh? Do you think this has anything to do with her Catholic upbringing?
Serious answers only please.

No atheist KNOWS how the universe was created. The theory of the big bang currently fits what we do know however about the expanding universe. Now the theory of the big bang was originally brought up by a catholic priest so it is really not in conflict with religion per SE. The problem with your statement that everything requires something to create it is that you do not really KNOW that either you just believe it with the evidence you think you have in front of you. The idea that god existed without a creator should give you some idea how we can believe that matter exists prior to life as we know and may have literally forever. The big bang could have happened billions of times contracted and happened again according to some theories. The invisible hand of god is used as a default here, by saying since we do no fully understand the creation of the universe than it must be attributed to an invisible being. Well the early cultures did not understand the sun and they attributed it to a fiery chariot driven by a god. same premise in my mind simply because I cannot conceive of something at this stage does not make it impossible, but I do not have to resort to the default position of attributing it to a god.

One of the loveliest kittehs I ever owned was a klutz. Couldn't walk a fence, couldn't catch a mouse, couldn't get up a shrub let alone a tree.
But she used to curl up on my desk as i studied, sitting on top of my monitor trying to catch the fishies on the screen saver with her paws...lol...and when i was ill she would lie beside me in bed and never move...not even to eat until i was better. And she adopted a stray alley cat . A handsome jet black Tom who looked like a mini panther.
...and used to leave half her food in the bowl and go looking for him...then bring him back in to share. He ended up living with us too...and he was rather more ept than she at the more traditional kitteh stuff.
Give the poor little thing a break...she won't survive the world without you to watch for her from the sounds of things.
Sometimes the freaky kittehs are the nicest ones .

Let keep CC out of this.
Have you checked with the vet?
Maybe she has or had an inner ear infection. The ears are used for balance and co-ordination in mammals.
Google it:-)
Maybe it's just clumsy tuning it's balance.

Take that cat to a vet. I'm no vet, but it sounds like she may have a serious neurological disorder.

you can always wait till it's a cat when it has more balance
it doesn't have anything to do with her catholic upbringing

Yes. All that talk of the burning pit of hell and eternal damnation would make anyone break dishes.

You can not shun a cat...they shun you. They are no doubt a visitation of Karma, punishing you as the cat sees fit.

Give it to me so I can offer it as a sacrifice to the Dark Father, Satan.
Obviously.

Lecture the kitty endlessly while petting it --
