What are some interesting questions to ask a guy over text?

So I met this guy at a dance and we hit if off pretty good. I realy like him and my friends say he seems to like me too. But wen we text he doesn't talk very much I meen he does buyer kinda run out of things to say. What are som appropriate interesting thing si can ask him?

We are in 7 grade.

    ask him what if questions or would u rather questions and u guys can play like truth or dare? idk but those can be fun sometimes..
