Ladies, how many of you wear vintage 1940's-1950's fashions all the time?

I do wear skirts and dresses everyday, a few are vintage, but most of them aren't. I do love the look, though. Ladies were so much more modest and feminine back then. I've also recently traded wearing pantyhose for stockings and garter belts instead and am thinking of buying a few girdles also. So maybe I'm in the process of gradually shifting my wardrobe over to all vintage. We'll see, I guess.

I love it! I don't wear it day to day, i am a camera man (despite being a woman) so it would be kind of be impractical. I always try to incorporate some aspect of it into my everyday outfits though, like red lipstick, finger waves, heavy foundation something like that. I always wear complete vintage outfits for parties and what not. Often it's really hard to get REAL vintage items so i get most of mine off eBay.

I adore the vintage look and stand by my brothers saying "We should not neglect what has happened before, because we remembered it, so it's got to be decent!"

So if i didn't have to run around chasing cars with a heavy camera on my shoulder and spent my days working in a shop, (i would have so much fun) i could wear vintage clothes 24/7

I wouldn't say that I wear it every day, but I love old fashion vintage clothes. I think it started when I was looking for prom dresses from junoir high and fell in love with all the old flapper dresses and other things as well on http://www.unique-vintage.com/ There clothes are starting to be a bit more updated, but I know how you feel.

I love vintage/retro clothing, but I have a hard time finding it in the stores that I live, and th vintage places are super expensive.

I like vintage alot but unfortunately there is no vintage stores in my area :(

Bullet bras open toe heels and seamed nylons are so sexy and very common back in the 50's, I love that look on women.

i love vintage clothing but i live in such a small town its impossible to get a hold of!

I wear shapers or control top pantyhose depending on how many extra calories need camouflaging in a particular outfit ;-)
