Santa Claus is as old as the "Believe IN" Santa Claus so, The first Santa Claus was from Turkey. His name was St Nicholas and he lived and performed miracles in the town of Demre in south western Turkey.
Santa turned 273 on his last birthday, of course that is not very old when you live in the North Pole, he can live for many more hundreds of years.
Saint Nicholas was originally Turkish.
However the Dutch version of his life got slightly corrupted, and turned into the modern Santa Claus. (Pronouncing Saint Nicholas in Dutch comes out like: San Nicolaus, which morphed into Santa Claus).
Well no one really knows how old santa really is . Because it is said that saints are people who live forever. Watch the movie fred clause and you will understand. Santa has a brother named fred, 2 doughters named christin and rudolfa . Fred does not like christmas and neather does rudolfa but christin does very much.!!!
