Does any one know of a good online high school for free?
I need to find an online high school because we are moving and it would be A LOT more convenient then driving far to get to the school every day. I am 15 years old living in tampa florida hillsbourough county and I know the basics but I need a full day of school but on the computer like on my own time but the whole class to get my diploma still. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

here are a few places (you'll never find a free one, though, unless you have a disability preventing you from going to public school for a high school diploma):
http://www.foresttrailacademy.com/
http://www.internethomeschool.com/
http://www.homeschoolonline.org/

However, I strongly advise you not to do so, unless your not that serious about your education and just want a quick GED.
Colleges will not even look at your resume, unless it's a really good, accredited online home school (which I guarantee will never be free). These few years before college are vital, you have the ACT, PSAT, SAT, etc. coming up, and its nice to have a high school counselor to guide you through these things; showing you what extracurricular activities and honors, AP, IB, etc. classes you should take for certain universities and colleges to consider you.
Your social skills need to be strengthened even more with classmates for you to be ready for fast paced work environments. But, hey, most spelling bee champs are home schooled (by their strict parents, though, online schooling is lenient). You'll get a cheaper, MUCH better education in a public high school.
In the end, though, the only thing that matters is that you make the choice that makes you happy in the long run. Good Luck :)

Not a good idea, Felix. Most "online high schools" aren't accredited, aren't recognized by universities, and are scams. I recommend you go to a normal school, just so you can socialize as well as learn, and have the best chance for getting into a good college.
You could always get a GED, but be warned if you want to go to college, that WILL be a red flag.

Yes, try Kaplan, K12, Connections Academy, Inisght or Pacific Coast High school. http://takecontrolofyoureducation.blogspot.com/

Well here in wisconsin we have iq academy and it is pretty efficient... i know alot of people that prefer this method other than going to school.. personally i think it would be better for you to interact with people personally.. But ask your counselor they would be the best to help with this situation
