Do the Saints need to get better injury prevention staff or are the players acting like nancyboys?

If you look at the injury reserve, there are players with groin injuries, hurt toe, bad back, and so forth. Is this not football? Are they not getting paid to play on gameday? I can understand a fracture or a tear, but if you are in pain you need to play period. Anyone agree or disagree?

Some of the injuries you mentioned are unbearable to play with, if not impossible. Especially if you're talking about skill positions where quickness and speed matter. I think people like Brett Favre, who played the end of last season with glaring injuries, are selfish and extremely arrogant for not letting someone else step in and giving them a chance to step up.

In general I'd rather have a healthy player than a banged up one on the field. I was glad to see my EAGLES not rush Westbrook back into the mix. We gave some younger guys a chance to play and they showed they could handle the load. So glad Westbrook is back though!

@insane_blackhawks_fan: fine reply! Kay, I consider you're good mindful through now that the Red Wings are my so much disliked staff. That is in view that the Red Wings have given the Blackhawks a difficult time for decades. Red Wings enthusiasts used to occupy a few of the United Center while the Red Wings got here into the city. Fortunately for the Blackhawks, the video games began promoting out. The competition among each NHL groups appears to be as powerful because the rivalries in different leagues wherein a Chicago staff and a Detroit staff are within the identical department. A near moment is Vancouver in view that of the best way they play and act. I can not stand the hair pulling, the finger biting, the inexpensive pictures, the off-ice trash speakme, and the talk that has surrounded the franchise ever because the Bertuzzi incident. I can not start to explain how excited I used to be while Boston received sport 7 and the Stanley Cup. If the Canucks confirmed an abundance of sophistication each off and on the ice, I might consider plenty higher approximately them.

Well the truth is that it's not the player's fault if they aren't able to play. Throughout the history of the NFL a lot of players did a lot of longterm damage to their bodies from playing while hurt based on that same mentality. A hurt groin can easily turn into a herneia and then they would clearly not be able to play. As a sports star their body is their tool of the trade if they damage that they can no longer play at all.

I agree, the players are definately acting like nancyboys, on the other hand there injury prevention staff seems to be pretty bad too.

haha, I've been wondering the same thing myself. They had such a strong season and then to lose to the BUCKS, come on now. Who knows whats happening, but a better injury prevention staff can't hurt!

Playing with injuries often will do more harm than good to the overall performance of the team, not to mention the fact that it will only slow down one's recovery and delay team efficiency.
