Pokemon related: what moves can be used while asleep?

I know of Snore and Sleep Talk

The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to figure out what to do with my Snorlax. Right now he has Rest, Yawn, Belly Drum, and Snore. Problem is I really like Yawn, Belly Drum, and Rest but in order to maximize the usefulness of rest I need abilities that can be used while asleep. Snore is pretty weak, but if I do sleep talk I need to delete one of my other three.

You should ditch Yawn, regardless if you like it or not. Snore is pretty weak but since Snorlax's attack is maxed out due to the Belly Drum, it will cause damage. But you also need a move when you're awake, you should get a good physical move to cause severe damage.

Sry but there is not a move that can be used while you're asleep besides those two, but still your opponent won't be able to take out Snorlax before it wakes up.

Here is a list of all Psychic type pokémon that gain a sleep inducing move and how it learns it. Drowzee/Hypno: Hypnosis (Level up) Exeggcute/Exeggutor: Hypnosis (Level up) smoochum/Jynx: Lovely Kiss (Level up) Mew: Hypnosis (Move tutor on XD gale of Darkness) Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir/Gallade: Hypnosis (Level up) and Sing (Ralts From XD gale of Darkness) Bronzor/Bronzong: Hypnosis (Level up) I'll be honest, the sleep move/dream eater isn't that great in competitive play. This is because of a sleep clause which means that only one pokémon can be asleep at a time (excluding the use of rest). Once a pokémon falls asleep, it is usually retreated. And thus the sleep clause is triggered and Dream eater is useless. However, if you insist on using the sleep move/Dream eater strategy, the best choices are Mew, Jynx. and Gardevoir. As for Nightmare, here are the general statistics... Type: Ghost PP: 15 Accuracy: 100 Power: N/A Description: Can only be used on a sleeping foe. Drains 1/4 of the HP of a sleeping foe for each round it stays asleep. What that means: Use it on a sleeping target and t loses 15% of it's max HP eahc round.
