Looking for very cheap, very rural land in Alaska?

Interesting that you should be asking about land in Alaska. I have lived in Alaska almost all my life. I live in Valdez which is somewhat rural. I own property approx 120 miles north of here in Chitina near Glennallen. Here is a website that gives some information. http://www.landinalaska.com/ Most people do not list rural land on websites up here as most of the State in rural areas do not have internet access due to lack of infrastructure. Tell me where in the State you are thinking of locating to and I will try to point you in the right direction. Keep in mind that 90% of the Stsate has no road access. The further off the road system the cheaper the property. Also keep in mind that many, not all areas of the State has no property taxes. The Copper River Basin/valley is one of the areas where there are no property taxes.

It all depends...how close do you want to be to towns/villages, will you be using a boat to get to and from it, are you skilled enough and have the body and mind strength to live on your own in the bush, etc. Horizontal land is more expensive than vertical land.

You have to explain what you want the land for. I can find you some real cheap land in Alaska, but it's buried under a glacier...
