do yo greet people with a handshake or a hug?

My idea is always a handshake,but people try to hug me everytime,even the men and i feel imbarrassed cause i'm not the type that would hug someone frist lol

Especially with girls i try to shake girls hands because i think they don't want a man ,especially a stranger man to hug them,but they give me a hug and i get real shy and feel imbarrassed lol!

but I do mostly greet with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, friends and if they bring friends over that I'm meeting. That's how I was raised, and that is the way they greet in Mexico where I lived as a child ♥

A handshake, and I mean a good one! Not some "dead fish" hand shake where the other person is all limp and such. Hate that... LOL When folks do that, I give 'em a hearty squeeze. :D Hugs are okay, but I'm more handshake. I'd hug you though!

I greet people with a handshake when I don't know them.

Usually a handshake, but i have had a few give me a hug.
