Ps3 controller question?
Okay I bought a ps3 controller. When I turn on the system and push the middle PS button, nothing happens, I push the buttons and I can't use the directional pads or anything. Does the ps3 controller have to be fully charged the first time you use it before you can use it?

It needs to be charged. Doesn't matter if it's fully charged or not, just as long as it has some juice left. When you press the PS button, and the lights don't flash, then it's empty so you need to charge it.
Assume that it has some juice, you need to sync it with the PS3. You need to connect the controller to the PS3 with the USB charging cable.

I could have sworn I already answered this question. Anyway, push and hold the circle PS button on your remote. A batter icon will come up. If the batter icon is fully colored, your controller is fully charged. If it's empty or nothing happens, your controllers battery is dead. The ps3 came with a cord u hook into your controller and then put it in the front of your ps3. U can play the game while it's charging or just leave the unit on while it charges.

Did you plug it in to the system and try to use it? If it doesn't wait a little bit then try again, if it doesn't work then get a replacement.
