I haven't been up for the New Year party for years. I can never stay awake that long...lol

(it comes in whether I watch, celebrate or not)...

My girlfriend and I are going to the capital to party, watch fireworks and drink booze with long-time friends. Nothing out of the ordinary. But you never told us what you're doing for New Years!
