I am basing my answers off of living in Rome for a year and formally being a student there.
1. Culture
- Music- Italians love anything and everything American, so if you go to any of the nightclubs, you will always here American music played- though there are famous Italian artists you will typically hear on the radio: Vasco Rossi, Eros Ramazzotti and Tiziano Ferro. There is also a huge following for house music (there is a station that plays this type of music all day) and Spanish music. Being that Italy is so close to Spain, the Italians love anything Spanish and frequently travel there.
2. Food- Italian and tons of Seafood. Think lots of olive oil, olives, bread, cheeze and pasta.
3. Activities- Most Romans will start their might by going to Camp di Fiori for a few drinks and then head off to a club afterwards. The best part and when you go to a bakery and finish off your soon to be hangover with a cornetto ( a croissant) and a spremuta (homemade orange juice.)
4. Clothes- the flashier the better. You will see girls wearing the most outrageous colors and the highest heels! They also love labels... so you will see a lot of people with knock-off designer labels.
5. Markets- Piazza Verona and Campo di Fiori- i used to go here to pick up some vegetables and stuff.
Sites- the leaning tower is nothing spectacular... but i think the forums, monuments and churches in Rome are breathtaking!! Also, Pompeii is pretty cool too.
Weather- think NY weather except ten degrees warmer.... it rarely ever snows in Italy unless you are in the North where the Italians go skiing in Cortina.
hope this helps!!

That's a highly spiced meat a ball! What a soiled b*tch!! I become aware of that you just stick (query) on your whole jokes, is that this for the reason that you had a load deleted pronouncing they were not questions?? It's simply occurred to me however I consider I p*ssed any individual off the day past once they made a mockery of a query I requested and I consider they mentioned alot of my stuff

Hi there. I am Italian from North America, I speak Italian and also a few dialects near the Naples area. I will try not to be biased, because honestly, if you go there you will find the north part of Italy the most beautiful and the south part more cultural.
Culture and Music:
In the north there is basically what you hear on the radio where you live, from recent pop as well as rock. I found I was listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers a lot on the radio. In the south, it starts to get more Italian and there is more talking about local topics, one example is, what do you do when your daughter comes home after 2am, etc and people call in to scream and give their opinion. They are more conservative in the south, men go to gyms to be muscular, women are still known to own the kitchen. In the north men are usually slimmer and dress more like models than like bodybuilders and don't count on women cooking. In the north, education is important and students take it seriously. In the south, because there are less opportunities, some find it difficult to study without seeing a job locally.
About culture and this is no offense to anyone, it's purely out of observation, in the north when you take the train, if you have a family of four, parents and teenagers, it is common that they discuss books. In the south, the kids look at each other and try to find a way to embarrass their parents in public, such as farting out loud and it's also much louder. In the north they speak quite fast, and not so loud, in the south, when walking on the street, it is louder and you'd here a few curse words here and there :) My family is no exception of course!
Food: Italians love pizza, pasta and ice-cream and coffee. The next thing would be seafood and then fish and veal. The meat is not that good, the veal and beef is quite stringy and fatty. They hardly serve chicken or pork in your plate unless it's a tourist restaurants. Italians make good sweets too. On every street corner it is typical to find an ice-cream store, yes, they are that popular! In bars (or what they call cafes), people hang out to watch a soccer game, kids and babies are often in there too, it's a family affair and they also sell ice-cream.
The weather is hot from June to early September, warm a month before this and the rest well, it's colder in the north with snow, as well as some places in the south that have mountains. But in the south where there are no mountains, usually there is no snow.
Sicily is a part of Italy, but they call themselves Sicilians. They have delicious oranges there and they have rice balls with meat and peas, (one version) called ARANCINI. Delicious. You also have the volcano, Etna, there.
In Naples you have the best pizza. And when you go to a restaurant in Italy, you often have 3 pages of choices to choose from. Near Naples is where they make that delicious mozzarella di bufala. Near Naples they have a volcano. And Pompeii, which is impressive. Some brag about the wine in this area but nothing surpasses the good wines in Trento (The Dolomites), and Tuscany.
So the places known for wine are Trento (The Dolomites), and Tuscany (Chianti and Brunello come from here).
My favorite attraction was Venice, because of the canals, it was beautiful. If you like history, there is the Forum in Rome, another one in Verona, Pompeii near Naples. If you are into art, Florence and, Veneto are the places to go.
If you like religion and the movie Angels and Demons or Da Vinci code, visit Rome, they have churches, etc there.
If you like the beaches, go to Cinque Terre in the north, they also have good white wine in that region and delicious pesto, Genova is known for the pesto. There is a small spot in Calabria called Tropea and Capo Vaticano that has nice beaches. My favorite was in Puglia, the other side of the coast, from Ostuni, downwards. Google it.
Other attractions: Tower of Pisa, worth a visit, museums in Milan, Lake Como, Lake Garda, mountains of Trento and Aosta.

For one thing learn to write Pisa.
Then look for information in Wikipedia and other sources in Internet (or, much better, in the books of the library of your town). None of us can do your homework. And just you can know what you like.
