Between the Axis powers in Europe (Germany, Italy, and their lesser allies) invading, occupying, enslaving and murdering the people of Europe, and the Japanese (and their collaborators) invading, occupying, enslaving, and killing the peoples of the Asia-Pacific region, I would say the Axis Powers were important in an historical sense. Make sure you include the enslavement (forced other peoples to work as slaves) in your project too, since it was only 70 years ago that the Axis Powers did this.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to actually read about the axis powers in your text book, so you may know something about the subject?

huh? like you can't have heroes without villains; can't have proponents without opponents. just not done. fyi: a hero's worth is determined by the villain's strength. ah come on ... didn't your school give the course in world history, part two? or is it you didn't attend (or slept through most of it). gee whiz! get awake and ask some seriously gifted questions. happy new year!

They provided something for the allies to shoot at.
