What type of program is it to be a dental assistant?
I know you do not need a dental degree but what is the program that I would need?

Most dental assisting programs are six month certificate programs. You should be able to go on the websites of schools in your area to get a better idea of what programs you can choose from.

I think in order to become a dental assistant, you have to apply for a dental assistant job if one is being advertised and then I think you learn what you need to know on the job. I think that's how it's done.
