    @King Nevarra,

    Spain indeed is an interesting place but the asker is already going to Morocco and took the time to ask a question here not in the Spain forum so please respect that and take your attitude elsewhere.

    Asker,

    Sixteen days is plenty of time to enjoy Marrakech. Must see attractions:

    - Jemaa El Fna Square: Street vendors, arts, handicraft, food, snake charmers, henna ladies, great orange juice;

    - Ourika: (About 15 miles away) A valley of olive trees with view of the snowy Atlas mountains and great berber tajines in the little villages.

    - Gueliz: A little downtown area with the usual amenities you would expect in the West.

    - Les Jardins de Majorelle: A residence of the late French painter and orientalist by the same name.

    - Koutoubia Mosque: An ancient sizable mosque by the Medina

    - The Old Medina: Small narrow street full of life, pesky salespeople, beggars and good food.

    - Menara

    - The tombs of the Saadiens: A tribute to kings of an old Moroccan ruling dynasty.

    You can also google: marrakech attractions and read some more about what you can expect.

    If you are staying that long Essaouira is a good place to visit for a day or two, a smaller city and peaceful, a nice medina with thuya wood handicrafts, argan oil and other goods plus fresh fish stalls and a beach.

    If you go north from Tangiers and cross the Strait of Gibraltar, you'll be in Spain, which is more interesting than anything in Morocco.
