Define good, as in, what are you going to be doing with it. The 9400 GT is, for all intensive purposes, not suited for gaming. It'll do fine for lower settings and some older games, but all in all, it was never meant for, say, Crysis. Spend a little more and get the GTS 250, which is by far a more powerful card and will handle any game on the market right now at 1080p with at minimum medium settings, if not high. Your PC sounds good, give it the GPU it needs. Or go with the ATI HD 4850 or 4870, which are also quite powerful.

Well, depends what your needs are.

If you're going to watch HD movies and maybe some gaming(like sims 3, FSX, etc) then it's perfectly fine.

If you are wanting to play games like crysis, gta4, anything coming out in the future, then I'd suggest a GeForce 9800 or higher.

If your building a new PC i'd wait until i had more money and bought something a bit better. With this type of video card you will not recieve the full 1GB of memory that it has to offer.
