What are the best ways to legitimately MAKE gold in World of Warcraft?

Heres my methods, i make pretty good gold but nothing out of the ordinary lmao.

* Sell stacks of cloth on the auction house(Linen,Wool, Silk...ect)

* Mining and selling the ore in the auction house(the higher lvl ore the more gold)

* Selling greens, and blues.

Mining and Skinning are the best money makers.

Mining or Herbalism. There are a bunch of great add-ons which can help you track where you had harvested last, such as Gatherer. There is also pet farming from various dungeons, but this isn't as efficient. One example of this is going through wailing caverns and killing all the raptors, going out, and resetting the dungeon. There's a companion pet that sometimes drops. It sells for a good amount, but I've ran the thing about 15 times with not a single pet dropping. I'd advise you stick with a gathering profession like mining,

go around to all the low level areas and purchase the recipes, plans ...etc...booty bay is best place can get all the parrots and recipes there can sell each for 15g then sell em in AH will avg about 250 - 300 gold every 2 days......... or if you have an 80 do the dailies in icecrown and storm peaks will give you 14g each x25dailies which is 350 gold each day
