I talked to a old flame the other day and....?
We got into the past and our old past love affair...talked about what went wrong and how she hurt me...during the course of our conversation I realized that she was asking me for forgiveness. i couldn't believe it after 14 years she was asking me to forgive her. I couldn't believe that it weighed on her mind that much...could it be she regretted her decision so long ago?

maybe she does regret it, maybe not. whats important is that you forgive her so you two can just move on with your lives.

Perhaps she did regret it, or perhaps something happened recently to bring these feelings to the surface.
Either way, I think she truly meant it, and it just shows that a genuine person would do this even after that long.

It sound like she is sorry for whatever she did years ago to break off the relationship. She may regret her actions but that is different from regetting the end of the relationship.

yes or she has no one else in her life at the moment and is trying to rekindle it. i think you should ask her out somewhere/sometime.
