What do I do when iTunes says, "iTunes could not connect to iTunes store...."?
"iTunes could not connect to iTunes store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again" is what it fully says.

you need to make sure you are connected to the internet in order to have access to the itunes store. if you have a strong connection i would try exiting out of itunes are re-opening it. you can always look on the apple website for further instruction

I had the same problem! First, go to iTunes and click "Help". From there, click "Run diagnostics" then only check the "Network Connectivity Test" box. Run the scan. If it says that your connection has failed, then go to the link that I'll give you and it will tell you how to fix it! Hope I helped you!

you have to be connected to the interenet. sometimes mine does that, even when i am connected, so the easiest thing to do is make sure you are connected, and close itunes and start it up again

try plugging it in and restoring it. this could reset it to production facility settings so each and every thing on your ipod would be deleted so i advise you in common terms try this in case you got each and every thing on your workstation first.
