I have a moderately modified 94 mustang cobra that needs a clutch.?
My mustang is pushing around 400hp to the wheels, and I stripped my clutch out of it. I was wondering if anyone knows what clutch would be the best to put in it, and that will actually last?

Centerforce clutches are great, but we've had huge success with RAM clutches. This RAM Powergrip kit is rated at 550 HP and is an excellent upgrade for your stock clutch.

If you plan to exceed 550 HP with the car, then I would recommend the RAM Powergrip HD, rated at 650 HP...

...or for serious power (1000+), this RAM twin-disc cluth.

Remember - it will never hurt you to have a clutch rated for more HP than your car makes, especially if you plan to continue modding it.

The King Cobra clutch is a good value for money. I have one on my supercharged 03 GT. It's lasted about 60k miles so far, but it's wearing out, as I can faintly hear the throwout bearing starting to squeak. I'll probably go with the Centerforce when it comes time to replacing the current clutch.

i tore up my stock clutch in 04 mach 1 and i put in stage 4 zoom clutch, i was pushing around 400 and it held up really good, think they are rated to like 800 hp. centerforce also has some really good ones, you can get them alittle cheaper in the 5.0 mustang magazines and mustang and fast fords
