How do you import .swf files into Sony Vegas Platinum 9.0?

I have some flash movies that I would like to import into Sony Vegas 9, but when I try to import them, it says that an error occurred and I should check to see if the file is still there. I did that BTW. I tried saving the flash as a lower player (such as flash player 5) and it works, but the quality is awful and you can barley tell what it is. Can somebody please help me? It even says on the website that you can import .swf files and edit them! BTW I'm using Macromedia Flash 8

Vegas only supports opening .swf vector files for use as text.

It doesn't support swf for actionscript, audio, or compressed movies.

Exporting or publishing the swf as a flash 5 file will work, but that will strip any modern features needed for the animation. =(

Vegas doesn't support SWF format. you can use a video converter to help you

I share one, which can convert video to MP4/MKV/WMV/AVI and other popular formats such as: SWF, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, FLV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, 3GP, 3GPP, DivX, Mov, M4V, DivX, XviD, ASF, VOB, and HD video etc
