The temp alarm on my car came on?

the heat gauge went all the way up, but there was no steam coming from the engine. I didn't have any heat in the car either though. What do you think it might be? Water pump? Radiator? Hose? or something else?

Update:

There were no puddles under my car either. It's a 2002 dodge caravan.

No heat indicates NO coolant. when was the last time you had it flushed and filled?

hopefully you stopped immediatly when the temp light came on, because Warped heads are Expensive to replace!!

If you ran it that hot then the head/heads could be warped. The loss of coolant is probably through a tube that runs in the valley of the engine from the pump.

Blown head gasket now that you let it get too hot if your lucky.
