How much would you buy my koi?
I hope I give you enough description for you to picture it . Sorry , but my laptop crashed and I'm only using my phone to type this in .
Description:
- looks a lot like a tancho sanke
- about 3"-5"
- not too fat , not too skinny
- shiny scales
- shiny eyes
- no missing scales
My koi seems pretty different from the ones you buy off a website . I rescued this koi from walmart about 3-4 months ago . I'm guessing it's a american koi . I tried to save the other one . It was too skinny . It died a few weeks after due to overcrowding in walmart . *probably?*
So , how much do you think it would sell ?
Thanks James,
And i want to sell it , because my 55 gallon freshwater aquarium is getting crowded . I used to have a 20 gallon . I also quit on the pond . Too much work . I now have about ten 2"-3" goldfish and the koi I'm selling .

A tancho is named after the Japanese crane, also called a tancho, because the crane is white with a red crest, Both suggest the Japanese flag. Because a tancho koi is not a trait that can be bred for, they have to remain uncommon and sought after. I have three and they are not the fish I would want to sell first. They would probably be the last ones I'd let go.
If your intention is to sell it to the best possible home and you are willing to learn how to ship a fish, check out Aquabid.com. Don't just list your fish. Read and ask questions first. There is a section and a discussion board to help first timers.

I'm not to sure but i've seen larger ones for hundred over the net. Basically the bigger the better the money. Oh and i don't see how a pond is much work. My pond is amazing. No nitrite, ammonia or nitrate and we don't even have to filter it.
Goodluck
p.s You may think your saving fish but at the end of the day you are supporting their fish keeping. It's like if you were in a country with illegal animal trade in markets and you see a little monkey in a cage. Naturally you want to save it but then the poacher have acheived what they wanted to, their being funded to catch animals.
