Boyfriend prefers oral sex/hand jobs to intercourse. Is this normal?
I have never been with a man that prefers oral/hand jobs to sex. This has me questioning my attractiveness. We discussed this. He told me my body is beautiful and that he finds me more attractive than any woman he's been with.
He is very tense during intercourse, unless he's in control. I thought maybe sex is too routine/he's doing all the work. I've tried being on top but he doesn't seem to enjoy it. He sometimes doesn't have a strong enough erection and says it's painful. He said he was injured in the past from this. He does climax (and more quickly) from intercourse. But will always choose hand job/oral first. He also talks about being "freaky". I'm more than willing but he says he loves and respects me too much to treat me that way -- that the relationship is about love, not lust.
Is this normal? I don't see how a guy could choose oral/hand to an actual woman! He is a wonderful man and does his best to please me, but I'm really missing actual penetration. What's going on?
We had a pregnancy "scare" last month. I'm on birth control...but could this have anything to do with it?
He also asks sometimes if he's good in bed, if it's "fun" for me, etc.

Perhaps he is just being smart. If you get pregnant and don't get married, he is facing paying 30 or 40 percent of his income as child support until the kid graduates from college.

This doesn't seem too strange. I think he doesn't like it because he finishes too fast. Guys have a lot of pressure on them to make "it" last as long as they can.
What do you mean prefers oral/hand jobs to an actual woman? you are still the one doing the hand and oral work right???? lol
If you cant talk to him about it and make things less tense in bed then you just have to make a decision about how important it is and weather or not you stay with him.

It isn't that unusual. He needs to be attentive to your needs, and vice versa. Clearly, the two of you need a combination of activities for sex to be mutually satisfying. Talk to him about a sequence that would be OK. Oh, and let him try penetration while standing by the side of the bed, with you lying on the edge of the bed; this might be more pleasureable for him.

it is a simple matter of control. he likes the control he has over you. weither it be oral hand or pennitration. the issue is control.
