changing coolant in 2000 s-10 blazer with 4.3 v6?
How do I drain the radiator,there is no standard style petcock. I found what I think is the drain but it looks like it need's a special tool.

It's hard to see on the backside of the radiator. Not the bottom.
It's got a plastic wing-nut style plug. Just use pliers. "gently"

I agree. Just pull the bottom hose off the radiator to drain your system.
Make sure you catch and dispose of or recycle the used anti-freeze properly. It's an environmentally hazardous chemical and poisonous to pets and small animals.
