You can have any photo including an animated gif that is already on the web. Place the picture on the web. For example Flickr or Photobucket.
There is no way to have an inline image directly from your computer in Yahoo mail on the web. It requires a separate email program.
For IE go to the picture and right click on it and copy. Now go to the email body or signature and paste it.
For Firefox it is a little trickier. Go to the picture in another window. You must be able to see the picture and the email window at the same time. Drag the picture to the email body or signature. NOTE: The picture you are dragging must not be a link, eg. clickable. If it is a link the link address gets copied rather than the picture.
The picture must remain on the web since a link is used and not the actual picture.

very handy i do it always add it out of your mobile or digicam then placed it at the laptop.then on microsoft workplace (WHICH EVERY ONE) then replica then paste at the e-mail
