First Time computer build - No Display on monitor?

Hi, I just finished building my budget build computer..

Coolmax 600w Power Supply

Msi G31 Micro ATX Motherboard

Corsair DDR2 800mhz performance RAM

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200

80 GB IDE Hitachi Hard Drive

Coolermaster elite 310

okay, so i am not getting any display on the monitor. I tried another Graphics card that was in my old computer and That Did not show any display either. I tried on another Monitor and still no luck. I went through the whole computer and even changed power supplys and hard drives. No luck. Ive tried to remove the memory stick (2gb) and nothing happened. Could it be bad memory? Everything sounds like its bootin (Fans spin, Hard drive spins up, Etc.) Although, The hard drive will boot up then turn off then boot up again. Nothing loads. The Hard Drive has windows vista ultimate 32 bit. Any suggestions? please help.

...could be your motherboard. bad controllers. maybe just return everything. also what's your graphics card? sometimes you would have to plug it in to your PSU but low end cards don't need it. Also, you could just return everything................................................all i can say is that you forgot to plug in your monitor.

    Corsair DDR2 800mhz performance RAM - ??

If it's not rated at 1.8 volts, then you have the wrong RAM.

Not the best brand of mother board but it has a VGA port for your monitor...and a PCIe slot for video card...you have to check the bios to see if its set for internal graphics or set to use the PCIe port..follow the instruction manual! it will only work on one OR the other! You have to install the OS..THEN the drivers from the disc that came with the mother board.

That motherboard has built in graphics which probably need to be shut off in Bios before adding a card.

sometimes a pc will not boot up if you do not have the CPU fan plugged into the correct fan header on the MB.

no bios screen or anything? try and reset the bios. pull the battery off the MB when the pc is unplugged from power.

you may have a bad MB.

I relatively doubt this is your issue. Are you utilising a non-integrated pictures card? while you're, connect the your video cable to the pictures card and be sure your pictures card has ability. If no longer, your motherboard could properly be a sickness, via fact I relatively doubt your processor is broken basically via fact which you probably did no longer lock the it in place. additionally did you place a thermal compound on your processor via fact which you reported you basically positioned your warmth sink fan on suitable.
